Medical sheet metal processing is a pivotal technology that sheet metal craftsmen need to master, and it is also an important process for the formation of sheet metal products. Medical sheet metal processing includes traditional cutting, shearing, bending, and other methods and technological parameters. It also covers the structure and technological parameters of various cold stamping molds, the working principles and operating methods of various equipment, as well as new stamping technologies and processes. Part of the sheet metal processing is referred to as sheet metal fabrication. So what is the introduction and development of medical sheet metal processing?

Laser drilling technology

1. Sheet metal processing is also referred to as medical sheet metal processing. Specifically, it involves using sheet materials to fabricate ventilation ducts, end caps of different sizes for elbows, circular sections for ceilings, and funnel shapes. The main processes include shearing, bending, folding, welding, and riveting, which require a certain amount of geometric knowledge. Sheet metal components are a part of sheet metal hardware, and they can be processed through methods such as stamping, bending, and stretching. They are generally defined as components that remain unchanged during the processing. Correspondingly, there are casting parts, forged parts, and mechanically processed parts, among others.

The commonly used materials for medical sheet metal processing include cold-rolled steel (SPCC), hot-rolled steel (SHCC), galvanized steel (SGCC SECC), copper (CU), brass, aluminum plates (such as 6061, 5052, 1010, 1060, 6063, hard aluminum, etc.), and stainless steel (mirror finish, brushed finish, matte finish). Different materials are selected based on the desired effect of the product, typically considering the intended use of the product.
